She was predeceased by : her mother Judith Benoit; and her sister Joan Benoit. She is survived by : her father James Benoit of Lake Charles; her siblings, Ellen DeWitt (David) of Moss Bluff and Tommy Benoit (Aleta) of Moss Bluff; her nieces and nephews, Jeanette DeWitt-Kyle (Trevor Kyle) of Lake Charles, Emily Fruge (Keith) of Lake Charles, Brandon Benoit of Lake Charles, Steven DeWitt (Brianna) of Sidney, Neb., Katie DeWitt of Moss Bluff and Ellen Atkinson of Longmont, Colo.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Abraham, Joan Kyle, Silas Fruge and Freya DeWitt; her brother-in-law David DeWitt; and her cousin Drew Mills.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (301 S Kinney Ave, Iowa, LA 70647).
