He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Troy and Fannie Leggett McManus; and his siblings, Cathy McManus, Martha Comeaux and Butch McManus.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dell Steen McManus; his children, Richard Troy McManus, David W. McManus M. D. (Sheila), Carol Ann McManus (Tony Broussard) and Cade Patrick McManus (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Chris, Logan, Libby, Tessa, Laura, Amy, Emily, Martin, Jonah, Olivia, Sarah, Zachary, Nina, Evelyn, Kate and Lydia. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
