She was predeceased by: her husband Shelby Brunson Clifton; and her parents, Carlton Joseph Simar and Annie L. Simar Lejeune (Murray). She is survived by: her daughters, Cherrae Smith and Shantel Green (David); and her grandchildren, Paige Borer (Davey), Brandi Williams (Tyler), Don Paul Smith (Olivia), Garrett Phipps, Cameron Phipps (Rachel) and Brooke Phipps. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:20 PM at the Geesey-Ferguson Chapel (301 N Ave F, Crowley, LA 70526). A rosary was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (604 St Joseph Ave, Iota, LA 70543).
