He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Duplantis Matte; his pet Luna; his children, Tina Guidry (Earl), Bryan Matte (Rhonda), Angie Theunissen (Ryan), Richard Howard (Kristi) and Laurie Matte; his grandchildren, Kathryn Gibson, Keith Matte (Lannie), Madalyn Howard-Mensch (Cole), Chloe Theunisen, Jonathon Rougeau (Morgan) and Kayla Chandler (Jack); his great grandchildren, Ruari Gibson, Molly Rougeau, Halston Rougeau and Heath Rougeau; and his sisters, Delores (Red Fontenot), Joan Matte and Susan Duplantis.
