With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Davis Roy of Iowa, Louisiana, born in Oberlin, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Davis and Katie Stockwell Davis; her husband Anthony Roy; her son Mark Roy; her daughter-in-law Debbie Roy; and her siblings, Ruben Davis, Robert Davis and Mary Lou Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Roy (Margaret), Cynthia Miller (Michael) and Katie Voyght (Adrian). She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Beyond her professional life, she was deeply involved in her community, finding joy in her contributions to Woodlawn Baptist Church, where she was an active member of the Women on Mission group.
