He was predeceased by : his father Anthony D. Roy; and his brother Michael Roy (Margaret). He is survived by : his mother Florence Davis Roy; his wife Debbie Roy; his daughters, Jessica Huval (Scotty) and Jenny Lantz Jill (Shaye); and his sisters, Cynthia Roy and Katie Voyght (Adrian). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Johnson & Brown Funeral Home (505 US-90, Iowa, LA 70647).
