He was predeceased by: his wife Mary R. Stewart; and his parents, Andrew J. Stewart Sr. and Edna S. Stewart. He is survived by: his sister Connie S. Bowser; his son Andrew M. Stewart; his grandchildren, James and Mirielle Stewart; his niece Rhiannona Babineaux; his nephew Ryan Bowser; his close friend Paul Brecheen; and his caregiver McKenzie.

In lieu of flowers, Andy had requested that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
