He was predeceased by: his wife Saline Wales Parker; his daughter Susan Parker Nyman; his daughter-in-law Karen Boyd Parker; and his stepgrandson Boyd Cobb. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Parker (Peggy) of Zachary, LA and Michael Parker (Sarah) of St. Amant, LA; his sister Retta Beligraph of Zachary; his grandchildren, Robert Brett Parker (Holly), Melanie Parker, Michael Parker Jr., Tre Neyman III (Jessica), Austin Nyman and Hannah Nyman Boyett (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Henry Parker, Alan Parker and Jordan Boyett.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wales Cemetery.
