He was predeceased by: his parents, John Michael and Annie May Selvidge. He is survived by: his wife Tamara Michael; his sons, John Michael (Carrie) of Paducah, KY and Jake Gunter (Melissa) of Hendersonville, TN; his adoptive daughter Latisha Dawn Gregoire (Todd); and his siblings, Mary Pettijohn of Conway, AR, John Michael of Columbia, IL and Terry Michael (Rose Michael) of Waterloo, IL..
