She was predeceased by: her husband William Donald Ray, Sr. (Don); her parents, Sharkey Joseph Bergeron and Dorothy Bergeron (Dot); her sister Dorothy Jean Bergeron Visosky (Dottie); her siblings-in-law, Jack Calvin Ray and Sandra Gayle Ray Cannon; and her parents-in-law, William Daniel Ray (Dan) and Lorena Forbes Ray (Rena).
She is survived by: her sons, William Donald Ray, Jr. (Saundra) and Devin Joseph Ray; her granddaughters, Brooke Elise Ray Dunaway (Chad) and Samantha Gail Ray Walton (Justin); her great grandchild Elise Diane Harvey; and her siblings-in-law, Nelson Cannon, Michael Brown (Mike), Anita Smith Ray and Shirley Ray Brown. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to honor Gail's memory can be made to New Roads Methodist Church, Louisiana Methodist Children's Home, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
