She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Sauce; her parents, Julian Verret and Marie Cole Verret; and her siblings, Betty Verret and Julien Verret Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Penny Cox (Bruce), Priscilla Hyde (Samuel) and Raymond Sauce (Sharon); her grandchildren, Christopher Cox, Kimberly Cox Dunnaway, Christina Toucheck, Joshua Dupuis, Jessica Mikulskis, Jay Sauce, Rachel Bufkin, Tiffany Miller and David Houston; and her sister Barbara Broussard. She is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Frioux David Funeral Home - Jeanerette (400 Provost St, Jeanerette, LA 70544). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM.
