He is survived by: his wife Darlene Stringer of Jeanerette; his children, Van B. Williams, Jr. (Patty) of Thibodaux, James Williams (Vivian) of West Monroe, Ken Williams of West Monroe and Trudy Williams of Thibodaux; his sister Judy Read (Stanley) of Farmerville, LA; and his stepchildren, Chad Trammell (Ruthie) of Franklin, Josette T. Sonnier of Jeanerette, DeAnna Kirby (Steven) of Stringer, MS and Kayla Hommel (Justin) of Stringer, MS. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren.
