It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Leroy Parker Sr. of Jena, Louisiana, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Farlowe Parker Jr. and Sadie Mae LaBorde Parker; and his brothers, Bobby Ray and Fuzzy. He is survived by: his brother Earl Randolph "Hoakey" (Jane); his wife Rachel Broome Parker; his children, Larry Owen (Carol), Angela Day (John) and Charles Parker Jr.; and his stepchildren, Bryan Juneau (Amber) and Jennifer Prestridge (Bill). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
