She was predeceased by: her husband Lamar A. Poole; her son Michael A. Poole; her parents, Fred Evans and Norene Evans; and her brothers, Larry and Freddie.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Stephens; her brother Dexter Evans (Donna); her grandchildren, Dexter Poole (Darla), Staci Dubois, Shelly Hunt, Burt Stephens (Lacy), Tiffany Stephens, Evan Poole (Ashley), Sherri Drewett (Trey) and Stacy Huson (Jimmy); her great grandchildren, Cody Stephens (Morgan) and Trylen Stephens (Ellis); and her close friends, Sally, Noel Allen, Shirley Jefferies and Boots Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2725 E Oak St, Jena, LA 71342). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
