She is survived by: her daughter April Capps; her son-in-law James Capps; her grandchildren, Marilyn Capps, Nizhoni Garcia, Clint Capps, Sylar James and Isis Capps; and her siblings, Deborah Joy, Jean Lathum and Buddy Sharp. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pinegrove Baptist Church (159-197 Pine Grove Rd, Jena, LA 71342). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
