With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verda Reeves of Jena, Louisiana, who passed away on February 18, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther McMillin and Ruth McMillin; her husband Huey Reeves; her son Roger Reeves; her grandchildren, Pamela Reeves, Kenneth Reeves and Felicia Reeves; and her siblings, Dorthea Drum, Iris Seyfert, LaVerne Watkins and Shelton McMillin.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Reeves (Ann), Eileen Doughty (Mike), Sharon Wright (Russell), Carolyn Reeves, Nora Dee Bradford (Ted), Reba McClure (Dexter) and Gordon Wright (Joy). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
