She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Aucoin, Sr.; her mother Maggie Bumgarden Deshotel; her son Ricky Aucoin; her siblings, Kay Vanslyke, Isaac and Larry Deshotel; and her great grandchild Leighanne Mangrum.
She is survived by: her children, Claude "Dozey" Aucoin (Tammie) and Patty Reed (David); her sisters, Margie Bertrand (James), Cathy Clement, Leona Black (Glen) and Wanda Mallett (Milton); her grandchildren, Bradley (Sharon), Jeremy (Cristina), Ashlyn, Ashley, Alex, William "Billy", Kylie (RL), Makayla and Ace; and her great grandchildren, Brady, Charleigh, Nora, Emberly, Aria, Delilah, Amelia, Greyson, Caroline, Sophie and Everett.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1355 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70546).
