With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Benoit of Jennings, Louisiana, born in Morse, Louisiana, who passed away on April 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey Benoit and Esther Vincent Benoit. He is survived by : his daughter Tonya Christine Benoit (Darron); his grandson Kaden Duhon; his siblings, Jimmy Benoit (Joyce) and Barbara Girard (Bobby); his wife Peggy Gautreaux Benoit; and his siblings, Irving Benoit, Daniel Benoit, Betty Bourque and Ella Benoit. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Matthews and Son Funeral Home - Jennings (511 N Cutting Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at 707 Orange St, Midland, LA 70556.
