Though Deloris Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Deloris Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raeburn Ardoin and Verneta Tate Ardoin; her husband Kenneth Wayne Letchworth; her siblings, Anthony Ardoin and Patsy Aguillard; her son John Kenneth Letchworth; and her grandson Brentton Letchworth.
She is survived by: her children, Kelby Letchworth of Jennings, LA, James Letchworth (Dennis) of Long Beach, CA and Dawna Letchworth (Maryanna) of Long Beach, CA. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Matthews Funeral Home - Jennings (511 N Cutting Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
