She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Allison, Margie Golbert and Sabrina Ransom (Chris); and her children, Byron W. Pete Sr. (Gail), Shawneequa Batiste Musgrove (Carlos) and Marcus Batiste. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two special godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
