Nixon, Sr. and Krista Arceneaux (Donavan); his grandparents, Joe and Laura Nixon; his nephews, Kedrick J. Nixon, Jr. of Lafayette, LA and Dallas K. Thibodeaux of Spring, TX; and his godmother Joyce Alexander. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
