He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Haley (Wiggy) and Rosa Lee Haley; his wife Ruby; his siblings, Donald Dean, Irma Sue and Lucielle; and his children, Larry and Donna.

He is survived by: his children, Latonya Haley (Rodaro Baham) of Houston, Kenyatte Levi (Tyrone Levi) of Lake Charles, Toni Carter (Marvin Miller) of Baltimore, James DeJhon'Haley Sr. (Tatianna Hollins) of Houston, TX and Joe Haley of Seattle; and his grandchildren, LaKeisha Haley-Davis (William Davis) of Baltimore, LaQuel Berry and Ty'Tiar Price. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, God Children.
