She was predeceased by: her parents, Charis Ann Bigby and Dr. Richard James; and her daughter Jacilyn A. Thibodeaux. She is survived by: her boyfriend Paul G. Aucoin; her children, Victor C. Romero Jr., Natasha B. LeBlanc and Madilyn A. Thibodeaux; her grandchildren, Carter and Emily Belveal; her sister Dena James Cummins; and her nieces, Jessica D. Duhon and Denea C. Aguillard. She is also survived by several grandchildren, aunts, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mortuary Center of Southwest Louisiana (16388 LA-26, Jennings, LA 70546).
