We are sad to announce that, on January 25, 2021, at the age of 91, John W. Leger of Jennings, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Tommie L. Howard Leger of Lake Arthur; his children, John W. Leger, Jr. and Susan A. Leger; and his parents, Effie and Florastine.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Leger Marcantel (Kenneth) of Jennings, Chris Leger Christina of Jennings, Paula Leger Pope (John) of Houston and Flori Leger Rhodes (Brett) of New Orleans; his grandchildren, Lauren Christina (Jess) of Charleston, IL, Claire Pope, J. D. Pope of Spokane, WA and Kyle Pope (Megan) of Arlington, VA; and his sister Eula Matte of Forked Island, LA..

He also had a coffee group that met daily (prior to the pandemic) who he fondly referred to as "The Old Farts Club.".
