She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jasper Daigle of Lacassine, LA. and Rena Belle Daigle of Lacassine, LA.; her daughter Kitzie Richard Foster; her siblings, George Wayne Daigle, Claude James Daigle, John Robert Daigle, Katherine Roshto and Mary Adele Langley; and her grandson John Joseph Richard.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Roy Richard Sr.; her children, Rena Bertrand (Mark) and Michael Richard Jr.; her siblings, Linda Gail Arthur and Charles Dennis Daigle; her godchildren, John, Roylynn, Julia and Aiden; and her son-in-law Shane Foster. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Matthews Funeral Home - Jennings (511 N Cutting Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A rosary was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hanks Cemetery Hanks Cemetery (214 Hanks Cemetary Rd, Morse, LA 70559).
