With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Cormier of Jennings, Louisiana, who passed away on September 28, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mae DeBlanc Cormier and Calvin "Red" Cormier; and his goddaughter Donna Thibodeaux. He is survived by: his wife Diane Cormier; his children, Kenneth "Kenny" Cormier, Jr. (Josy), Sadie Esthay (Randall), Amy Fuentes (Carlos) and Kristopher Cormier (Jennifer); his siblings, Linda Young (Ray), Pris Soileau, Phyllis Cormier, Russell Cormier (Stephanie) and Brian Cormier (Craig); his grandchildren, Matt Cormier (Jennifer), Ryan Cormier (Bailee Williams), Matheus Azevedo, Kristen Durio (Caleb), Hanna Goodwin (Gunnar), Eric Fuentes (Kristin), Garrett Fuentes (Kristen Shedd), Miranda Fuentes (Harley Schupska), Alex Fuentes, Nick Cormier and Josh Cormier; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Cormier, Blaise Cormier, Laney Durio, Carson Sittig, Ellie Durio, Georgia Goodwin, Autumn Fuentes and Kennedy Schupska.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home - Jennings (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (1620 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70546). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
