He is survived by: his wife Susie Marques Shoats of Lake Charles, LA; his children, David Dugas of Huntsville, TX, Kris Bonin of Crosby, TX, Aimee Shoats Strong, Keisha Shoats and Agnes "Sophia" Shoats; his grandchildren, Tabitha, Noah, Kaiden, Kameron, Lilli, Pippa, Caroline and William; and his sisters, Jovita Shoats Guidry (Gerald) of Iowa, LA and Cynthia Shoats Landry of Denham Springs, LA.. He is also survived by his six great grandchildren.
