She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel W. Gilbert; her parents, Amitte "Molly" Andrepont Miller and Walter Joseph Miller; her siblings, Donald Miller, Earline Dietz and Martha M. Amie; her niece Kimberly Cormier; and her nephews, Daniel Amie and Patrick Cormier.
She is survived by: her brother Gerald Miller (Rose Mary); and her nieces and nephews, Angela M. Guillory, Christine Dietz, Barrett Miller, Jarred Miller, Randall Cormier (Sara), Scott Cormier (Becky) and David W. Dietz (Renee).
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (518 Ledoux St, Jennings, LA 70546).
