She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Jacob Thevis and Mary Veronica Reiners Thevis; her husband Vincent Berken; her daughter Mary Vail; her siblings, Betty Reiners, Kathleen Hoffpauir and Wilbert Thevis, Sr.; and her great grandchild Brant Tyler.
She is survived by: her children, John Berken (Virginia), Debbie Clement (Jude), Judy Fletcher (Bryant), Sharon Cassiere (Ed) and Elaine Quebedeaux (Jason); her son-in-law Mark Vail; and her grandchildren, Shannon Clement (Deidre), Chad Clement, Ryan Clement (Megan), Lana Trahan (Jerratt), Jared Fletcher (Amber), Kerri Daigle (Nick), Brandon Vail (Danielle), Kristie Shultz (Matthew), Allison Kimmons (Levon), Katrina Cassiere (Campbell), Amy Cassiere, Camille Landry (Brian), Joel Berken, Blaine Berken (Cheyenne) and Carson Quebedeaux. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Miguez Funeral Home (114 E Shankland Ave, Jennings, LA 70546). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (710 N State St, Jennings, LA 70546).
