With sadness, we share the passing of Martha Evonne Coleman (Jennings, Louisiana). Martha, born on May 31, 1948, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sr. Coleman and Margie Coleman. She is survived by: her children, Kieran and Tina Coleman; her granddaughter Avi Dinae; her caregiver Kizzy Sinegal; her siblings, Richard Coleman, Jr. (Anita), Cheryl Crawford, Sr. (Lloyd) and Lonetta Barker; her aunts, Dorothy Davis and Josephine Beverly; and her friend Berlyn Briggs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (1502 S Main St, Jennings, LA 70546). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the Benevolent Cemetery.
