Dennis of Jennings, Louisiana, born in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Wesley Dennis and Minnie Shaw Dennis (Valley); his siblings, Orville Dennis and LaVaughn Greer; and his daughter-in-law Johnnie Raye Dennis.
He is survived by : his wife Mona Istre Abshire; his sister Peggy LeDoux; his children, Judy Goodreau of Lake Charles, Marty Dennis (Debbie) of Reno, NV, Thomas "Buck" Dennis of Jennings, Frank Dennis (Winifred) of Hathaway, John Dennis of Jennings, Charlie Dennis (Jill) of Lake Charles, Joe Dennis Dawson (Eddie) of Austin, TX and Shelli Britt (Charles) of Roanoke, LA; and his stepchildren, Kim Meaux, Tyrone Abshire and Doug Abshire. He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.
