He was predeceased by: his parents, Desiree Cormier and Adelice Meaux Cormier; and his siblings, Nolan Cormier, Leonie Cormier Belaire, John Wilbert Cormier, Daniel Cormier and Joseph Floyd Cormier.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Cormier (Mary) of Pearland and Myra Lynn Boulet (Mark Daniel) of Indian Bayou, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Brian Cormier (Monica) of The Woodlands, Lisa Koehl (Brad) of Needville, Texas and Jason Boulet (Lois) of Indian Bayou, Louisiana; and his great grandchildren, Avery Cormier, Blake Cormier, Coleton Koehl, Tucker Koehl, Rhett Boulet, Julia Boulet and Abby Boulet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Ebenezer Church of the Nazarene (1020 Ebenezer Rd, Crowley, LA 70526). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Indian Bayou Community Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Huey's name to the Southwestern Louisiana Veterans Home, 1610 Evangeline Road, Jennings, Louisiana, 70546.
