She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Willie Lavergne and Zora Doucet; her children, Sue Newman Robson and Daryl Wayne Newman (Blanca); her grandchildren, Melanie Hollier (Joe), Andrea Strozik (Joey) and Bryan W. Newman (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Richard, Jared Richard, Allyson Richard, Peyton Hollier, Carson Hollier, Mason Strozik and Adrianna Strozik; her great great grandchildren, A'llyvia, Hunter Richard, Ocean, Marlie Richard and David Oliver; her husband Lionel Newman; her granddaughter Marla Robson; and her great great grandchild Addison Richard.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
