He is survived by: his children, Troy Sonnier (Shelly), Russell Sonnier Jr. (Mary Jude), Byron Sonnier, John Sonnier (Connie), Cynthia Daigre (Joey), Renee Trauth (Anthony), Kevin Seagraves (Janet), Kip Seagraves and Kara Whitehouse (Darrell); and his daughter-in-law Renell Sonnier. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
