He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Whipple and Dolores Bahr Whipple; his brother Gary Whipple; his brother-in-law Bob Stroble; and his son-in-law Kyle Quebedeaux.

He is survived by : his children, Matthew and Erin; his grandchildren, Landon, Aubrie, Ethan and Emri; and his siblings, Faye, Julie and Tom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery (1620 Evangeline Hwy, Jennings, LA 70546).
