She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Parker and Beulah Paschal Parker; her husband Willie R. Leist, Jr. (Bill); her granddaughter Olivia Christine Denton Dobson (Christi); and her siblings, James E. Parker, Jr., William B. Parker, Patsy Russell, Frances Sibley, Mary Lee Cook and Dorothy Childers.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Leist Denton (Bill) and Dean Leist (Kiely); and her granddaughters, Melody Speak (Jeremy), Lauren Leist and Erin Leist. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery (191 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
