It is with sadness that the passing of Evylon Pepper of Jonesboro, Louisiana is shared. Evylon, born on August 27, 1927, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Pepper; her children, June, Louise, Margie, Lill, Ricky Pepper and Donald Pepper; her grandchildren, Danny Carpenter and Staci Pepper; her parents, Claude Borland and Burt Borland (Brown); her siblings, Earline Chandler and Elbert Borland; and her close friends, Effie Fenn and Bub Fenn.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Curry, Lena Smith, Bettie James (Bobby) and Greg Pepper; her brother Raymond Borland (Mary); her aunt Eva Faye Raborn; her cousins, Jo Masters and Susie Rowe; and her close friends, Gary Fenn, Carl Fenn and Sherry Terry. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home (228 Allen Ave, Jonesboro, LA 71251). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
