He was predeceased by : his parents, John Clark Wood and Glennell Wood (Garrett); and his brother Charles Wood. He is survived by : his siblings, Debbie White, Linda Harlan (Jeff), Gresham Barnes (Pat) and Robert Barnes (Mandy); and his adoptive mother Patricia Sluss. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Weston Baptist Church (112 Weston Church Rd, Jonesboro, LA 71251).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Glen's name, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or your local church.
