He was predeceased by: his parents, Edier Sherman and Amanda Menard; and his siblings, Aline S. Luquette, Mabel Sherman, Agnes S. Matte, John Sherman, Dalton Sherman and Wilton Sherman.
He is survived by: his wife Diana White; his daughters, Tara Louise Mouton (Neil) and Rachel Sherman; and his grandchildren, Christopher Jonah Trahan, Matthew Dylan Trahan and Angel Dawn Mouton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
