He is survived by: his wife Victoria Bouillion Tate of Kaplan; his children, David Anthony Tate II (Lori) of Opelousas, Mark Elward Tate (Christy) of Suwannee, GA, Scott Michael Tate, Andrew Baron Tate (Beth) of Kaplan, Natalie Angelle Tate (Mark Graham) of Pass Christian, MS and Renee Marie Tate (Larry Perruzza) of Hopewell, NJ; and his siblings, Catherine Tate Gidlow (Ken) of Lafayette, Susan Tate Williams of North Carolina and Steven Tate (Freida) of Mamou. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
