She was predeceased by: her husband Orris "San" Menard; her son Rodrick Menard; her parents, Leonard Abshire and Yolande Frederick; and her sister Shirley A. Mouton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bernadine M. (Joseph Hebert Jr.) of Forked Island and Tina M. (Patrick Dubois) of Broussard; and her grandchildren, Bridget Emmert, Megan Hebert, Rustin Menard, Owen Hebert, Gidget Menard, Kalli Dubois Mondrik and Nicholas Landry. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home (300 N Eleazar Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A procession was held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan (300 N Eleazar Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (17315 Lionel Rd, Abbeville, LA 70510). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St Anne Cemetery (17315 Lionel Rd, Abbeville, LA 70510).
