He is survived by: his wife Berley Chauvin Guidry of Kaplan; his children, Shane Guidry (Nanette) of Kaplan, Tex Guidry of Kaplan, Cindy Stevens of Maurice, Maxine Guidry (Robert) of Kaplan, Yvette Landry Frederick of Kaplan, Darnell Guidry of Kaplan and Sherri Guidry of Kaplan; and his sister Jackie Morgan of Youngsville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (300 N Eleazar Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery (602 Church Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548).
