With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elzie Cormier of Kaplan, Louisiana, who passed away on August 21, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Mae Cormier; his parents, Alcide Cormier and Olita Abshire; his siblings, Elizabeth Broussard (Clarence), Leonie Turner (Joe), Ursin Cormier and Marceluis Cormier; his granddaughter Brittany Cormier; his great grandchild Riley Guidry; and his half-brother Antoine Cormier.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Cormier (Mona), Stanley Cormier (Betty) and Patricia Wicks (Alfred); and his sister Beatrice Benoit. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; his 15 great grandchildren; his four great-great grandchildren.
