With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Lormand of Kaplan, Louisiana, born in Abbeville, Louisiana, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Anne Foreman Lormand; his parents, Phillipe Lormand and Bernice Suire; his brothers, Francis, Henry and David Lormand; his parents-in-law, Joseph Foreman and Margaret Foreman; his son-in-law Paul Boudreaux; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Foreman, Raymond Hargrave and Dallas Dubois.
He is survived by: his children, Erin Lormand Boudreaux of Kaplan, Gene Lormand and Andreé Hebert of Abbeville; his grandchildren, Emily Lormand of Erath, Drake Vaughn of Abbeville, Carly, Dustin Broussard of Milton, Blair and Dave Viator of Youngsville; his great grandchildren, Emma, Kenna Broussard and Hayes Viator; his siblings, Marilyn Hargrave, Martha Dubois, Arthur and Beverly Lormand; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Foreman and Margaret Foreman. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Eugene.
