He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodule Dartez and Evelyn Marceaux; and his siblings, Paul Elwood Dartez, John Dartez, Letha Dartez Jordan, Laura Mae Dartez Benoit and Leva Mae Hargrave.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Dartez; his children, Chasity Miller (Randall), Paul Dartez (Tracey), Blake Dartez (Bobbie), Patrick Hebert (Jennifer), Nicole Hebert and Crystal Lavergne (Glenn); and his siblings, Murphy Dartez, Gerald Dartez, Anthony LeMaire and Mary Ryder. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
