Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mayo Suire Jr. of Kaplan, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 73, on July 9, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayo Suire Sr. and Louise Rung; and his siblings, Clifford Suire, Dewey "Dewitt" Suire, Barbara Vincent and Rosetta Menard.
He is survived by: his wife Cecile Marceaux Suire; his children, Amber Romeo (Aaron) and John "Bubba" Trahan Jr. (Jennifer); his sister Mary Jane Richard; and his godchildren, Jonathan "Shane" Vincent, Alvin Stelly, Robert K. Marceaux and Melissa Guidry. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Calendar Vincent Funeral Home (300 N Eleazar Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A rosary will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Calendar Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church (600 Church Ave, Kaplan, LA 70548). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Calendar Petry Cemetery.
