Hughes, Alexis Renee Hughes, Tristian Ayala and Tonya Berry; his grandchildren, Avery Allan Ayala, Riccardo Cuby Ayala, Shamaria Berry and Kylon Berry; his mother Catherine DeMarcy; his stepfather Randy DeMarcy Sr.; his siblings, Jimmy Hughes Sr., Catrina DeMarcy, Randy DeMarcy Jr., Denny DeMarcy, Eric Frederick, Richard Mendel, Christina Mendel, Darlene Mendel and Regina Mendell; his sisters-in-law, Rachel Abshire and Trastina DeMarcy; and his friends, Darrell Domengeaux, Troy Lemaire, Trey Jones and Rudd. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Savior's Church - Abbeville Campus (901 Wildcat Dr, Abbeville, LA 70510). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Our Savior's Church (901 Wildcat Dr, Abbeville, LA 70510).
