It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidonia L. Primeaux of Kaplan, Louisiana, who passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Hillman Primeaux; her parents, Eustice Lege and Louise Chevilier; and her brothers, Dallas, Joseph, Ernest and Elray Lege.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda P. Abshire (Jimmy) of Kaplan, Earline P. Lavergne (Vernice) of Wright and Tina P. Marceaux (Troy) of Wright; her sisters, Verna Delahossaye of Kaplan, Myrtis Trahan of Kaplan and Beverly Gisclair of Kaplan; her grandchildren, Cassie Sistrunk, Marcus Abshire, Kimberly Maturin, Glenn Lavergne, Seth Marceaux and Mia Marceaux; her great grandchildren, Mitchell, Bethany, Austin, Jaida, Chloe, Gavin and Macie; and her great great grandchildren, Ellie and Bennett.
