He was predeceased by: his father Clabert Whaley of Port Barre; his former wife Veronica "Vicky" Hebert of Arnaudville; his mother Elva Wyble Whaley of Port Barre; his brother Roy Whaley Sr. of Port Barre; his daughter-in-law Paula Richard Whaley of Port Barre; and his grandson Jonathon Whaley of Port Barre.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Landry Whaley; his children, Warren Lee Whaley, Jr. (Mary Beth) and Elizabeth Whaley LeBlanc (Robert); his stepchildren, Coby Richard (Wendy), Brett Richard (Tiffany), Denee'Richard Hebert (Marcus) and Maghon Richard Coleman (Troy); his grandchildren, Micheal LeBlanc and Victoria Whaley; and his stepgrandchildren, Madelyn Richard, Liam Richard, Gabe Coleman, Avery Coleman, Kendyl Hebert, Jeighlee Richard and Collin Richard. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
