He is survived by: his wife Pat Stewart of Keatchie; his children, Kerri Stewart Tomlinson (Greg) of Woods Community, Ben Stewart (Kim) of Marshville, MO and Jason Roy Stewart of Shreveport; his siblings, Roger Stewart (Debbie) of Stanley and Billie Lynn Pope of DeBerry; his grandchildren, Nathan Hunter, Drinda Runnels, Cody, Vanessa Runnels, Anna Runnels, Jayden Sneed, Chance Tomlinson and Levi Tomlinson; his great grandchildren, William, Matthew and Mia Runnels; and his niece Sondra Griffith (Dwayne) of Lancing, Tennessee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Community Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that memorials be made in Roy's name to Evergreen Life Services in Bossier City, Louisiana.
